Sandy Hook survivor is surprised with scholarship by Jacob Trouba

This is the heartwarming moment New York captain Jacob Trouba gifted a Sandy Hook shooting survivor a college scholarship on the ice at Madison Square Garden.

The incredible clip saw NHL hero Trouba surprise Isiah Marquez-Greene before a recent Rangers game, with the youngster initially only expecting to receive a jersey from his hero.

Instead, Trouba asked him to take a seat on the bench, where he presented him with the rest of the surprise - giving him a scholarship for his law degree at UConn, and even his phone number.
