School chief found dead just weeks after probe into him was launched

A former county Chief of Schools was found dead in just weeks after he was fired amid a disturbing probe into him for possession of child pornography.

Jefferson County (JeffCo) Chief of Schools David Weiss was terminated on December 19 after the sheriff's office .

Initially, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and refused to reveal the subject of the investigation.
