Scientists have finally reached the tallest known tree in the Amazon, around the size of a 25-storey building, three years after Cambridge researchers claimed to have found it during an expedition.The giant tree, in the Floresta Estadual Do Paru in northern , measures 290 feet (88.5 metres) tall and 32 feet (9.9 metres) around.At 290 feet, this is significantly taller than Nelson's Column in (170 feet) and nearly as high as The Statue of Liberty in New York (310 feet).
