A form of 'X-ray' vision has been harnessed by a team of researchers, who have created a headset that can see through objects using augmented reality.A team of scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have developed a headset called the X-AR, which uses radio frequency signals to locate objects through cardboard boxes, wood and plastic. The goggles are synched to labels that send radio waves to the headset. The labels are then placed on an object sending the object's location to the wearer, even when the item is hidden.
