Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will face the Senate Judiciary Committee one more time Wednesday after undergoing 13 hours of questioning on Day 2 of her confirmation hearing — including hard-hitting inquiries from Republicans on the panel.Wednesday’s proceedings will begin around 9 a.m., when Sens. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) and Thom Tillis (R-NC) will get 30 minutes each to pose their first sets of questions to Jackson. Each of the Judiciary Committee’s 22 members will then get 20 minutes apiece to interrogate Jackson again. During a press conference following Tuesday’s hearing, chairman Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) asked his colleagues to yield back their time during their second round of questioning in the hope of shortening Wednesday’s proceedings.
