officials have launched a manhunt for a young cheerleader who has been missing since yesterday - and her mother suspects the teen's 'emotionally abusive' boyfriend might be involved. Ava Phillips, 17, was last seen leaving Angleton High School at around 10 am and getting into a white Toyota Corolla after not attending her fourth-period class. The teenager's mother, Kailey Perez sounded the alarm after her car was found in the school parking lot with her phone, keys and backpack inside.
