Senators have been inside the US Capitol all night voting on dozens of amendments to Democrats' $740 billion and healthcare spending bill, in a lengthy process known as a vote-a-rama.It's being brought to the floor after months of setbacks and grueling negotiations, and vocal Republican opposition over its supposed effects on inflation. A study that was commissioned by Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee projected the bill will increase taxes on Americans of every income level.
