Senators reached an agreement that will allow a massive $1.7 trillion omnibus appropriations bill to through the chamber chamber today – giving the Democratic House and the chance to put their last big stamp on policy before the end of the year. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer announced the deal on the Senate floor Thursday morning, after the chamber was in session until 2 am.'It's taken a while, but it is worth it, and I appreciate the cooperation of everyone here,' he said. Senators then immediately began voting on amendments.
