A 'beautiful' six-year-old girl has died after a needle accidentally pierced a major artery during a 'minor' procedure.Amelia 'Millie' Ridout suffered 'massive, catastrophic' internal bleeding and died in June 2022 after she went to the world renowned Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge with a suspected blood condition.An inquest heard that even though a paediatric doctor saw a warning sign that something had gone wrong during the biopsy, a consultant haematologist raised no concerns.
