An eagle statue was stolen from a US Air Force monument in Queensland on Christmas, leaving the tribute significantly damaged.Police are searching for a man captured on CCTV and are calling for the public's help to track him down as they investigate the theft.The eagle was taken from the top of a several-metre high pillar at the United States 5th Air Force Monument at Kissing Point in North Ward, Townsville about 8.30am on December 25.
