The stepmother of Harmony Montgomery, who was murdered at age five, was declared a fugitive after she failed to show up in court after lying about the girl's disappearance.Kayla Montgomery, 32, was ordered to be arrested by a judge after not showing up to a court hearing on Thursday. She faces charges after allegedly telling the state Department of Health and Human Services that Harmony was in her care.The five-year-old was last seen alive by her mother in 2019. Police became involved in September 2021 after Harmony was reported missing. In August 2022, investigators said she was murdered in December 2019, citing new 'biological' evidence of her death.
