Wreaths have been laid at the memorial site of Buchenwald concentration camp to mark the 78th anniversary of the camp's liberation. As some of the remaining survivors of the Holocaust gathered at the camp's memorial site near Weimar, eastern , speeches were made to remember those who lost their lives to the Nazi's mass-murder operation.
