Sweden is building world's first permanent electrified motorway

is building the world's first electric motorway which will allow cars and lorries to recharge will driving.

The 'e-motorway' will be built along 13 miles of European route E20 which connects Hallsberg and Örebro, located between Sweden's three major cities of Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.

It comes after the passed a law last month requiring all new cars sold to have zero CO2 emissions from 2035.
