Tampax has come under fire over a 'gross' and 'inappropriate' tweet about being 'in women' that seems to have been inspired by the notorious 1989 'Tampongate' phone call between King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla. The tampon company has gone viral after putting its own spin on the popular 'You are in their DMs' memes about approaching someone flirtatiously on social media, but critics have accused the brand of taking the joke too far. 'You're in their DMs. We're in them. We are not the same,' Tampax on Monday, explicitly referring to how its tampons are used.
