That is according to a bombshell report from , who spoke with a number of producers who admitted Trump was nothing like the successful, hands-on entrepreneur seen on screens. Trump was picked by show creator Mark Burnett at the age of 57 to star in The Apprentice in 2003, primarily because he was a household name thanks to being a tabloid star through the 1990s.
