A military shoot-down of an unidentified object off the coast of is raising fresh concerns about the integrity of US airspace, a week after a Chinese spy balloon was shot down in a separate incident. The latest incident unfolded on Friday afternoon, when a US F-22 Raptor flying at 40,000 feet that the said 'posed a reasonable threat to the safety of civilian flight.'President gave the order to shoot down the object, but military officials have yet to confirm whether or not the latest object was a balloon, or what its suspected origin might be.
