British American Tobacco, maker of some of the world's most popular cigarette brands, has been fined $958 million after it was caught secretly selling its products in North Korea, violating economic sanctions.BAT's monumental settlement is understood to be the single largest North Korean sanctions penalty in the history of the US Department of Justice.For years the US has imposed sanctions on the hermit state as a way to try and curb its nuclear weapon and ballistic missile ambitions.
