Tragedy as lacrosse star dies at 16 after 'being struck in the head'

A high school lacrosse player from Ohio died Thursday from injuries suffered during a game earlier this week. He was just 16.

Dylan Veselic, a sophomore, was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery after being hurt Tuesday.

It has been reported that the 16-year-old was struck by the ball in the back of the head. His family confirmed his death in a statement on social media.
