A Turkish man suffering from leukemia has defied the odds by testing positive for Covid 78 times in a row over a period of 14 months, in what is believed to be the world record for an active infection. Muzaffer Kayasan, 56, has spent those 441 days isolated from his family, including his granddaughter Azra, who stay in the garden while visiting his Istanbul flat.Usually, people who have Covid symptoms can test negative after around five days, but for Kayasan, he has spent 14 months testing positive.
