The administration of United States President Joe Biden has outlined plans to deliver COVID-19 vaccinations to Americans ages 5 to 11 years old, pending expected approval by federal agencies in the coming weeks. The plan announced on Wednesday will seek to swiftly vaccinate the country’s 28 million children in that age range by making the jab available at paediatricians offices, pharmacies, and possibly schools, according to the White House.Officials said the US has attained enough doses to vaccinate that entire demographic, and would begin shipping the vaccines, as well as smaller needles designed for use on children, as soon as federal approval comes through.
