A United States army corporal who was killed in action during the Korean War and granted the nation's highest military honor has been identified through DNA testing 73 years later. Luther H. Story was only 19-years-old when he was wounded in action during a hostile attack by the North Korean army on September 1, 1950. Story stayed behind so his company could get to safety and was later declared missing. The young soldier's father was presented with the Medal of Honor at a Ceremony in 1951 by General Omar Bradley. In January 1954, three years later, Story was declared unrecoverable, and his remains were still missing.
