United States stock markets continued to lose ground on Tuesday, with retail, industrial and technology stocks bearing the brunt of the selloff as the US Federal Reserve kicked off its first two-day policy-setting meeting of the year.As of 2:04 pm ET (19:04 GMT), the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 89.01 points, or 0.26 percent, at 34,275.49.The broader S&P 500 index – a proxy for the health of retirement and college savings accounts – was down 44.22 points, or 1.0 percent, at 4,365.91.
