A man has woken up from a three-month coma following a horrific car crash - and one of his first acts was kissing his mother on the cheek. Thomas 'Eddie' Stanton, 23, was critically injured in a dramatic multi-vehicle collision in the city's downtown on the night of September 9. According to LVMPD, alleged DUI driver Carlos Adan Alvarez, 36, ran a red light before smashing into Stanton's car 'at a high speed' and flipping his own vehicle.
