Dramatic new footage of the devastating floods that hit in recent days has emerged, showing roads turning into rivers and cars being washed away.

As countries on the eastern Mediterranean , Spain's Costa Blanca region and the island of Majorca were both inundated by Storm Tamara, prompting local officials to declare weather emergencies.
