's attorney general has written to a middle school in the state demanding they stop selecting students for a college preparation program 'based on race, color and national origin'.AG Jason Miyares wrote to Cooper Middle School in McLean after the school sent an email to eighth grade parents asking if they children would benefit from a scheme to help them with college applications.'Please cease and desist the illegal conduct of soliciting and selecting applicants to the College Partnership Program based on race, color and national origin,' he wrote.
