A former Tech soccer player has reached a $100,000 settlement with the school to dismiss her lawsuit claiming she lost her starting spot on the Hokies team over her refusal to kneel with teammates in support of the movement.Kiersten Hening, a former non-scholarship player for the Hokies, against Virginia Tech coach Chugger Adair in 2021, saying he targeted her because he 'dislikes Hening's political views.'Hening has now agreed to drop that lawsuit in exchange for $100,000.
