Voters give Trump shock new approval rating as he nears first 100 days

President is facing slipping approval according a flurry of new polls released days before he hits the 100-day mark in office.

According to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll, his backing is at 42 percent with only 37 percent approving of his handling of the economy.

That differs fromout last week that found Trump is at 54 percent approval, tied with his highest-ever rating in February.
