Warning over gruesome parasite causing 'bowel cancer-like' symptoms

Health officials have sounded the alarm over an outbreak of a gruesome diarrhoea-causing parasite at a petting farm in Wales.

At least 28 people have been infected with cryptosporidium which can pass between animals and humans, as well as between people.

Health chiefs investigating the cluster of cases believe they are all linked to Cowbridge Farm Shop at Marlborough Grange Farm in Cowbridge.
