An acclaimed Seattle restaurant and inn that was once a destination for foodies has closed after the owners settled a $1.37m wage lawsuit with 137 ex-staffers.The Willows Inn on Lummi Island, 80 miles north of Seattle, has shut its doors, and owners Tim and Marcia McEvoy have donated the space, valued at $2 million, to nonprofit Lighthouse Mission Ministries.Award winning chef and co-owner Blaine Wetzel had put the restaurant on map, but was apart of the for abuse, including the use of sexist, homophobic and racist slurs toward employees.
