The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has said it is willing to suspend tournaments in China until sexual assault allegations made by doubles star Peng Shuai are properly addressed.Peng has not been seen in public since she announced on social media on November 2 that former vice premier Zhang Gaoli had forced her to have sex.The post on China’s Weibo platform has since been deleted and all discussions of the issue in China have been blocked.
