An underwater volcanic eruption has lifted dozens of WWII-era ships from their watery graves in Japan.Seismic activity from the volcano Fukutoku-Okanoba lifted the sea bed. As it did it 24 battleships washed ashore on the western side of Iwo Jima.The island lies roughly 1,200 kilometres south of Tokyo and was the site of one of the war's bloodiest and most famous battles.
