More than 2.5 million students in the U.S. used tobacco products in 2021, according to a report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ().In total, the CDC reports that 13 percent of high school students and four percent of middle schoolers used tobacco products last year, and more than a third of high schoolers have used one at some point in their lives.More than 80 percent of the use was attributed to disposable e-cigarettes and pod or cartridge products - which have become a dangerous trend among America's youth.
