An Oakland 7-Eleven security guard was shot dead during a store robbery leaving his daughter in tears over his senseless killing by an alleged thief. Just after 10pm, James Johnson, 59, was shot by a suspect inside the convenience store as the security guard tried to stop the suspect from stealing merchandize, police said. Johnson's daughter who went by the name Snow said her father worked at the store for approximately two years and that he lived in the building behind it in the Adams Point neighborhood.
