Major League hitters had an offensive outburst on Tuesday that the game had not seen in 129 years.
A dozen MLB teams scored 10 runs or more, marking the first time that many clubs reached double figures since 1894 – an era when 'spirituous, vinous and malt liquors' were still banned and uniformed players were strictly forbidden from sitting alongside fans.
What's more, three games ended 11-10 on the same day for the first time.
