Airlines across the country have been gearing up for the holiday weekend as 2.8 million Americans are expected to fly each day. Both the East Coast and West Coast are also expected to be hit with fierce storms which could trigger delays for the already busy travel experience. The three largest airlines in the US, American Airlines, Delta and United Airlines, have all amped up their efforts to make holiday travel as smooth as possible as this year's rush is expected to rise by 16 percent in the number of flyers compared to 2022.
