Nearly half the American population scarcely uses cash and more than one in ten only ever pay using credit or debit cards, new figures show.An exclusive DailyMail.com survey found 46 percent of people make payments using cash less than once a month - while only 8 percent said they did daily.Gender and age correlated with the use of cash as 69 percent of men have visited an ATM within the past month as compared to 55 percent of women.
