Astros announcer cheekily jibes Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass

pitcher Anthony Bass caused a fiercely-contested debate on social media this week and is now at the butt of jokes resultantly.

Bass posted a photo on Sunday of his two toddler daughters on a flight with popcorn strewn on the floor below, explaining a United flight attendant 'made' his wife clean up.

While facing his former team - the Astros - on Monday night, Bass received an ostensibly cheeky jibe by Houston announcer Geoff Blum, who said the man had come on the mound to 'try and clean it up.'
