Autopsies began Monday in the Bahamas for the three Americans who died mysteriously last weekend in their separate rooms at a luxury Sandals resort, a report said.
Bahamas Police Commissioner Paul Rolle said Monday that a pathologist had “consented to doing the autopsies” — but did not say how long it would take, according to CNN.
Officials are hoping the autopsies will shed a new light on the case, after all three victims allegedly sought medical help after feeling ill and later died in the course of the night Friday.
