President on Thursday cheered the last-minute agreement between railway workers and management that averted a strike that could have cost the U.S. economy $2 billion a day.
Biden intervened in the labor dispute on Monday, and Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh hosted parties in prolonged negotiations that culminated in a deal announced Thursday morning.
'It feels good... they should be home in bed,' Biden said as he met with negotiators in the Oval office.
