Blinken and Mayorkas visit Mexico as caravan of migrants heads north

A senior delegation of U.S. officials flew to on Wednesday to address record numbers of people illegally crossing the border, and as migrants makes its way through the country.

The visit by Secretary of State Antony and Homeland Security Secretary is widely seen as a chance for the Biden administration to increase pressure on Mexico to tighten border security ahead of next year's presidential election.

But the Mexican president got his response in first, saying the U.S. should offer more help to Latin America rather than 'building walls.'
