Blinken meets with key Middle Eastern powers

US secretary of state Antony continued his meetings with key Middle Eastern foreign ministers in Jordan on Saturday - and pushed for support planning a post-war future for Gaza.

Blinken is attempting to build support among leading Arab nations who remain wary as Israel intensifies its military operations in Gaza.

Jordan, and are calling for 'an immediate ceasefire, delivering humanitarian aid and ways of ending the dangerous deterioration that threatens the security of the region,' Jordan's foreign ministry said in a statement on Friday.
