While falsely using the ESPN NBA insider's name and picture, the X user indicates being a 'satire/parody' account in its bio. On Saturday, the fake account, which boasts 11.8k followers, that Rose - a former MVP - retired after 15 seasons.

King, a former Bulls forward, saw the tweet during NBC Sports Chicago's broadcast of the Bulls-Wizards game and announced the false information on air.
