Businessman pleads GUILTY to trying to bribe Senator Bob Menendez

A businessman has pleaded guilty to trying to bribe Democratic Senator Bob Menendez in a corruption case.

Jose Uribe admitted to seven counts, including conspiracy to commit bribery, honest services wire fraud, obstruction of justice, tax evasion and other charges.

The New Jersey has been under investigation for over the last five years to carry out favors for three businessmen - including Uribe - who are also charged in the case.
