A busload of migrants from who were supposed to be dropped off in were instead found abandoned near an highway. According to the Kankakee County Sheriff's Office, nearly 40 migrants from Venezuela were at Love's gas station's parking lot near an Illinois highway on December 21. After responding to a call early in the morning, officials discovered that the group, traveling from El Paso, had been left at the gas station around 4.30am, with the bus driver wrongly informing them that they had reached Chicago.
