Canadian police are considering whether 'criminal, federal, or provincial laws' were broken in the lead up to the Titan submersible disaster. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police will examine 'the circumstances that led to the deaths' of the five crew on board the sub and decide 'whether or not a full investigation is warranted'.Their investigation was ongoing on Friday, a day after it emerged and segments of the vessel were brought ashore. A marine engineering professor said that electrical failure could also have contributed to the disaster, following claims it was made from inappropriate materials.
