A property developer claims he got a death threat from a local politician for housing almost 500 asylum-seekers in 15 of his buildings around .Chris Amatore said he spent $150,000 of his own money preparing the buildings for habitation, paying utilities, and even supplying migrants with groceries.The successful developer who has bought, rehabbed and sold more than 600 buildings around the city, said he was now focused on the migrant crisis.
