Christie Brinkley is still dealing with the aftermath of her broken arm.The supermodel, 65, stepped out for the 2019 Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York City on Tuesday night, where she gave AOL's Gibson Johns an update on the injury that forced her out of "Dancing With the Stars" back in September before the competition even begun."It’s doing okay. It was just a little bit worse than I thought it would be," Brinkley, wearing a hand brace, explained to AOL exclusively. "It’s taken a lot longer [to heal] than I thought it would."Just two days before the latest season of "DWTS" kicked off in mid-September, Brinkley announced that she had fallen during training and would be replaced by her daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, in the dancing competition. The fall left her with multiple broken bones and forced her to get surgery on her right wrist.
