Clippers swingman Amir Coffey has been arrested for possessing a concealed firearm following a routine traffic stop at the busy Hollywood intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Highland Avenue. The 26-year-old native was a passenger in a car that was pulled over in Hollywood around 2:30am on Sunday, DailyMail.com has confirmed. Officers claimed they smelled marijuana, prompting a search, which uncovered a loaded gun. Coffey allegedly admitted that the firearm belonged to him and he was arrested for misdemeanor firearm possession.Los Angeles County jail records show that Coffey was booked at around 5am and later released on his own recognizance.
