A U.S. Army Sergeant and his brother have been charged with a failed murder-for-fire plot to kill four people, including two children, court documents revealed.Sergeant Jeremiah Peikert, 30, was arrested in on Thursday and extradited to where he faces conspiracy charges for working with his brother Joshua Peikert, 32, to arrange a murder scheme.Police said while incarcerated at the Corrigan Correctional Center in Uncasville, Joshua asked his cellmate if he knew a hitman who could kill a 29-year-old woman, a 23-year-old man, a 10-year-old girl and a one-year-old girl in 2022.
