Cops seize Gilgo Beach murder suspect's green Chevy Avalanche

The prime in the case against suspected Gilgo Beach killer Rex Heuermann started its long journey back to New York Tuesday.

Prosecutors hope evidence found in the rare first-generation Chevy Avalanche will help them make an airtight case against the accused of three Gilgo Beach killings.

The green truck was seized last week at the home of Heuermann's younger brother Craig in rural Chester, South Carolina.
